With our Patented Razor Knife Plate, that can
make vertical or horizontal cuts,
your new Saw System Panel Saw has
transformed into a full size sheet cutter.
You may cut or score many different materials
with our Razor Knife Plate. Cutting
materials such as Foam Board, Cardboard,
corrugated PVC and Coroplast become
easy tasks when using our patented Razor Knife
Plate.
In operation the OFLA Razor Knife follows the
same groove that the saw travels
in the backer board. This is important because the
blade can be adjusted to
cut all the way through the material, to a depth of
1/8 inch into the backer
board. A backer board is important because the
material being has a solid surface
to lie against. If you don't have a backer board
your material can bend away
from the knife blade while you are cutting and
cause a beveled edge and a wavy
cut. Our backer board is designed so it doesn't
have to be removed when changing
from Razor Knife Plate to the saw motor plate.
A unique feature, about this Patented Razor Knife
Plate, is that you can slide
the body of the knife down to the surface of the
material then adjust the knife
blade to cut through your material. Being able to
do this will eliminate any
blade deflection and ensure a true straight
cut.
