What is a Lift Gatet?
A liftgate is a platform at the back of trucks used to load and unload cargo when no forklift or loading dock is available. If liftgate service is required, additional fees will be added to the order and must be specified at the time of order. This can be done by selecting the liftgate service online or by calling 1-866-532-WELD. The customer is responsible for getting the product off the truck. Truck drivers are not required to and may or may not help you get the item(s) off the truck. If the customer (you) do not request lift gate service, WeldingMart.com is not responsible if the item(s) cannot be unloaded from the truck. The customer (you), will be responsible and liable for any shipping and delivery cost incured if the item is brought back to the shipping depot and/or for second delivery attempt or refusal of item(s) if there is no damage to the item(s). The customer (you) will then be charged accordingly.
