Shipping Policies

WeldingMart.com is very proud to be one of the few websites that offer large corporate preferred pricing to small businesses and consumers. All orders are processed the same day as received during normal business hours. Occasionally an item may be delayed. If the delay is more than a day or two, we will contact you for further instructions on the item.

Please note that by placing an order with WeldingMart.com, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to comply with all policies listed below.

Also please note that once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Any purchase of welding equipment over $1,000.00, WeldingMart.com will automatically ship insured to protect you from any potential damage from shipping. Shipping charges are calculated based upon weight and size. All orders are shipped via various carriers depending on the product and shipping location.

Shipping Rates
WeldingMart.com offers Free Shipping on all Lincoln Welders & Plasma Cutters, Milwaukee Power Tools, Harris Products Equipment, and ESAB Equipment in the continental United States. Additional shipping charges apply to Alaska and Hawaii.

Free Shipping is standard ground service to a commercial or business address, assuming that the location has a loading dock or fork lift to remove the item(s) off the truck if needed. WeldingMart.com does not pay for any residential fees or surcharges or lift gate fees. Any additional charges or fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be charged accordingly. Shipping times are approximate and are not guaranteed except for 2nd Day and Next Day Air. Most items less than 70lbs. ship via UPS or FedEx although; this is not guaranteed and your item(s) may ship truck.

Lift Gate
If you do not request lift gate service, WeldingMart.com is not responsible if the item(s) cannot be unloaded from the truck. Truck drivers are not required to and may or may not help you get the item(s) off the truck. You will be responsible and liable for any shipping and delivery cost incurred if the item is brought back to the shipping depot and/or for second delivery attempt or refusal of item(s) if there is no damage to the items(s), you will then be charged accordingly.

A shipping and handling fee may be added to all welders, plasma cutters, wire feeders, and other related welding equipment. The trucking carrier may impose additional shipping costs to residential addresses. These additional fees are due to the shipping carriers being unable to use a regular semi truck to get to the residential streets and need to switch to a smaller truck. You are responsible for any additional shipping costs to a residential address. Additional costs for residential delivery can vary depending on the shipping carrier.

Truck Freight
Usually, the shipping carrier will call your phone number which is required that we have on file to arrange the delivery date and time. You must be present to receive and sign for the shipment. DO NOT sign for any package that shows damage to the outside carton. Have the driver note the damage on the bill of lading, do not sign it, refuse the package, and contact us immediately. Transit times vary for truck shipments due to dispatching and scheduling. After the order has shipped, you can log-in to your account at WeldingMart.com and obtain your tracking information and status. If there is a problem and your tracking information does not appear on your account, you can contact us at 1-877-532-9353.

Oversized Packages
If for some reason your package is oversized, we may e-mail you a quote for shipping that differs from the numbers you see during checkout. We will not ship your order until we get your approval regarding the new charges.

Signature Requirements
In order to protect our customers, WeldingMart.com reserves the right to ship packages signature required. Please contact us at 1-877-532-9353, Monday – Friday (7:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. CST) if this creates a problem for you.

UPS may require a signature even if we request otherwise.

Gas cylinders ship with a hazmat label and require a signature at time of delivery. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Shipping to a Military (APO, FPO) Address
We support the military and are more than willing to ship to APO and FPO addresses courtesy of the US Postal Service. Any orders shipping to a Military (APO or FPO) address need to be less than 70lbs. (or have a physical U.S. address) and need to come directly from the manufacturer to our warehouse in Wisconsin. Once the item is received in our warehouse, we will ship it out immediately. These orders may take additional days to receive.

International Orders
Tax and shipping charges are not automatically calculated on international orders. You will be contacted by our Sales Department within 2 business days of placing an international order to confirm shipping, sales tax, and other fees which may be associated with export. WeldingMart.com can also ship to a freight forwarder within the United States that can forward your freight to your location.
